Scott moved to Oregon 6 years ago from the Midwest (Go Packers!), beginning his Oregon coaching career with MRT. He started skiing on the bulletproof ice found on small hills in Wisconsin, leading into a coaching career with the college team at the University of Wisconsin. He has 30+ years of coaching experience from U8s to FIS/NorAm level and everything in between. He has worked with High School, College & Club teams, and coached at summer camps including Ligety/Weibrecht. His daughter is an alumni of MRT, and also the main instigator of 'Coach Becky' that has circulated around the mountain. Scott's ski racing philosophy is 'Ski fast, have fun; the least that will happen being on a ski team is you will become an AWESOME all-around skier for the rest of your life!' USSA Level 300.
