Portillo, Chile
August 15-22, 2026
We are planning to go back to Portillo in August 2026! We are planning on a week camp the third week of August. Flights would go into Santiago Chile where we would shuttle up high in the Andes to Portillo.
Portillo is unlike any other ski resort in Chile or the rest of the world. At Portillo, everyone gets to know each other and becomes part of the social scene resembling a small, concentrated ski town. https://skiportillo.com/en/home/
Options will be team travel where your racer would stay in the Inca Lodge, which is a dorm style facility. As a group racers and chaperones would leave Portland to arrive in Santiago on the 15th. A shuttle would deliver the group to the hotel and return on the 22nd for departure to Portland.
Family travel is the other option, arrive in Santiago on your own or on the same flight. Meet and shuttle to the hotel. Housing options would be booked separately. Team Travel (U14 and older):
- Aug 14 - Depart PDX
- Aug 15 - arrive Santiago (SCL)
- Shuttle from SCL to Portillo will be arranged
- Aug 16-22 - Skiing, training, off snow activities
- Includes Meals, lodging, lift tickets, coaching, activities, airport shuttle
- Lodging in the Inca lodge (dorm style bunks with a shared bathroom)
- Fee: $2,900.00 (team will book your lodging, flights must be booked on your own)
Family Travel:
- You must book lodging with Ski Portillo Directly - please reach out to Carol@skiportillo.com and reservations@skiportillo.com - space in the hotel is limited to book ASAP!
- You are responsible for your own lodging and flights.
- Arrive to SCL airport by 9:30am on Aug 15
- Fee will include airport transportation, coaching for Aug 16-22 as well as team dryland (off-snow activities) and video review. We will work as a group with TAS coaches & athletes. 4-5 total coaches.
