Chris started skiing when he was 4 years old in the mountains around Aspen, Colorado. From there he remembers cruising the mountains with friends and enjoying everything about skiing. At the age of 18 he moved to Durango CO. and found out the love for Telemark Skiing. While there, he started the Ft. Lewis Tele Team with friend Andy Sovick and they both started traveling to all the extreme comps for both telemark and alpine Skiing . With a couple top 10 finishes and a first place finish, Chris began a career in Telemark skiing creating the endless winter, with summers in the Southern Hemisphere skiing, filming and cruising the states looking for good snow every winter. After filming with Powderwhore Productions and competing for a few years him, his wife, and their son decided it would be best to get out of Colorado and start something new in the Pacific Northwest, they currently live in White Salmon , WA.. Skiing sort of went on the back burner for a few years but now he is excited to be apart of the Meadows Big Mountain Ski Team and lock down the heels again!
