Jed grew up as a competitive ski racer on Mammoth Mountain, then taught and coached at Park City and Las Leñas, Argentina. He’s also skilled at telemark, snowboard and nordic skiing. A youth soccer coach and lifetime athlete/outdoor sports enthusiast. Jed moved to Hood River for the windsports in 2019 with his two teenage children. His first year with MRT was in 2021with his daughter, Zola. Having fun and athletic skills development all over the mountain are the priorities in Jed’s coaching philosophy. Jed In the summer season, you’ll find him on the river in a sailboat, kiting, windsurfing or Wingfoiling.
