MRT is helping staff the PDX Snowvana public gear swap.  This is a fundraiser for MRT as we will receive part of the proceeds.  This is a great opportunity to complete your volunteer hours early!  Each shift counts toward 1 volunteer day. 

You must have general knowledge of ski/snow related gear and be able to direct people in the right direction.  No additional training or pre-requisites are needed.  

• Volunteers to help with gear intake from the public, gear tagging, and arranging/positioning consignment gear on racks
• Knowledgeable volunteers to work in the ski swap, assist customers during show hours
• Ski Swap Dates for 2026: Thursday, October 22nd, Friday, October 23rd, Saturday, October 24th and Sunday, October 25th
• Ski Swap hours including drop-off and pick-up: Thursday 12pm - 8pm | Friday 8am - 8pm | Saturday 10am - 7pm | Sunday 10am - 8pm
• Show Hours: Fri 12-8, Sat 10-7, Sun 10-4
• Volunteers to assist customers with the pick-up of unsold gear on Sunday
• Assemble donated gear for pickup by recycler

• Assist with the breakdown of the ski swap and gear sale on Sunday 4-8pm
